Announcing a timely and unique opportunity!
Cross-School Lesson Study Open House
The Greenwich Japanese School (GJS) has held open houses since 2000. These events have provided the U.S. education community with opportunities to observe mathematics and science lessons. This year, the open house will offer research lessons in Japanese language arts (grade 4), mathematics (grade 3), special education, and science (grade 8).
This will be the third consecutive year that Harlem Village Academies has hosted a Lesson Study Open House. Harlem Village Academy serves 450 students in grades 5 – 11. Three mathematics lessons (grades 5, 8, Algebra 2) are being prepared for this open house as well as a unique lesson that will integrate the Arts, Physical Education, and History (grade 8).
